Special Offers for Small Business Card Holders PDF Print E-mail
For this Small Business Card Monitor Featured Topic, we focused on firms that offer their clients discounts on their card purchases – in the form of coupons or as automatic savings. Our findings showed that three SBCM firms have an in-house special offers section on their site, while two other SBCM firms partnered with Visa to offer clients a selection of coupons. All five SBCM firms do a nice job of offering clients a way to save on business expenses without the need to enroll in a program. We found that five SBCM firms do offer savings on one or more of these categories: car rentals, lodging, office supplies and technology solutions.

Online Statement Centers are an important feature within online banking, allowing clients to view current and past statements, with well-designed centers having the ability to convince card holders to suspend paper delivery.   In this Credit Card Monitor Report, we looked at what types of online statements are available from each issuer tracked by our coverage firms. Additionally, the ease with which users can locate the Online Statements Center is an important aspect, along with the length of the firm’s statement archive, and the options for clients to modify their delivery preferences, allowing them to choose to receive hard copy statements or to go paperless.
