Small business owners often have their company’s name engraved on their business cards, but it’s more helpful for them if they can personalize the card with their company’s logo or with a personal tagline. In this edition of Small Business Card Monitor Report, we review the tools firms offer to help business owners customize their card in a way that well represents their company.

In this Small Business Card Monitor report, we look at two SBCM firms that offer free card design tools that allow business card holders to add an image or business logo. These unique customization tools are easy to use and find on the business card holder’s online account. When reviewing these customization tools, we focused on:
  • The process of personalizing a business card
  • The type of customization options
  • Special features available to business customers that enhance the customization process
  • Delivery timeframes of customized business cards
Although the card design tools for the two SBCM firms are very similar, we noticed a few differences. For example, one of the firms also allows business owners to add a photo ID to the card. The layout of the card design tools differ as well. One of the firms allows customers to access all the card design options in one place, while the other firm requires customers to view each design option individually.

Both firms provide the customization card tools on the Customer Service section of the Online Banking sites, making it easy for clients to find. And, to ease the card customization process, both firms offer a progress meter.
