In just a
few weeks, Corporate Insight will publish
a new research report, Social Media:
Trends and Tactics in the Financial Services
Industry.
This study
will provide the industry's first comprehensive
review of the way social media is being
used by financial services firms. We'll
look at what's working and what's not, and
who's leading the industry. While the report
will touch on broader trends and developments
in social media, our focus will remain predominantly
on what's taking place in financial services.
We know from
our research that this movement is starting
to take hold across banks, brokerage, mutual
fund, insurance and credit card firms. We
recently conducted a survey of our clients
and learned that 83% of the responding firms
are planning initiatives around social media.
Further, 78% of respondents indicate that
blogs are the social media feature they
are most seriously considering. Overall,
almost 90% of respondents see social media
as an important component of their firm's
marketing strategy.
If you haven't
taken our social media survey yet, please
click
here to share your views. Your response
will be anonymous, and will help us to identify
high level efforts and timelines for social
media in financial services.
The cost of this special research report
is $12,000. However, if you reserve your
firm's copy prior to October 1, 2008, you
will receive a $2,000 discount.
